Los Angeles–based artist, songwriter, and music advisor Chloe K turns storytelling into sound, crafting compositions that are as honest as they are unforgettable. Most recently, she served as Lead Music Consultant on the short film Ashen, executive produced by award-winning cinematographer Mandy Walker (Elvis, Hidden Figures, Snow White). Now, Chloe is stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist, bringing her signature storytelling to the forefront and unveiling a body of work that reflects her truest, most powerful voice yet. Chloe’s connection to music began in early childhood. Some of her earliest memories include looking through her father’s music collection, attending violin lessons with her mother, and singing along to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Music was woven throughout family life, from car rides to holiday celebrations to Saturday evenings, creating a natural love for both popular and classical music. Ballet classes, Suzuki violin, and early exposure to performance cemented her understanding of music as a living, breathing storyteller. From the moment Chloe picked up her first biography— about Julie Andrews, for a third-grade book report—she was captivated by other people’s stories. She devoured biographies throughout childhood, drawn to the honesty of real lives and the way narrative reveals who we are beneath the surface. At the same time, she was discovering musical storytelling: even before she understood every lyric, she felt how word choice, melody, and emotion could create entire worlds and deepen our connection to the human experience. For her, language and music quickly became inseparable tools for expression. Songwriting soon emerged as the place where her love of stories and her love of sound intersected—an honest, connective space where inspiration could spark from any moment of genuine human connection. And today, her superpower remains the same: she’ll lead you into the depth and truth of a story, and she’ll always bring you back to a safe place. Writing songs came naturally and spiritually. Chloe describes herself as merely the person “penning” what the music wants to say, creating compositions that are honest, safe, and judgment-free. Her songs navigate the full spectrum of human emotion but always leave space for goodness, hope, or connection. She strives to create music that comforts, uplifts, and resonates, a musical world of encouragement, candor, and whimsy. For Chloe, while she is the songwriter, the songs belong to everyone, offering listeners whatever support they need in that moment.
